Here we go. I'm not the only Yaris AX nut. I found one in Canada. LOL!

Not a bad little car.

How come it looks like it's using its air dam as roll support Very Happy

The vids look as fast if not faster than my Mazda. Should be a fun toy to play with. You probably don't need a tow vehicle if this thing fits inside a van or a big pickup haha

FSP FTW

FSP! Razz

Yeah it should handle an overwieght Mazda 3 fairly handly. Grin

then prove it Very Happy

Haha I agree. A FSP Mazda 3 does have about 60 more HP at the wheels than most other FSP cars. Razz Also, a little bit chassis than the Yaris, it won HS in nationals before.

Sure thing ...too bad youre dragging around an extra 1/4 ton with all that HP. Grin

Yeah Not bad for the 1.3 liter version of the Yaris. 1.5 liter car is even faster ...low 16's. Very Happy

Talk about sleeping at the lights. They'd probably hit 15's haha ok maybe not. Laughing

Funny you find all these Mazda 3 vs Yaris vids. I would have thought there would be more Yaris vs Fit, Kia, Cooper, etc.

Must have been first run, because he could have charged the course a lot harder. Also noticed he was on the wrong side of the cones when he was done. Not the coolest way to get a dnf, is it? Smile

Even mags like Consumer Reports, not widely known for their emphasis on performance, won't recommend the Yaris due to it's complete lack of any "fun to drive" quotient. Anyone who thinks a Yaris is remotely "fun to drive" needs to drive a few more cars during thier remaining years here on earth before making such a statement. Campaigning an underdog car can be fun, up to a point, and perhaps even leading to some wins at the local level, but eventually reality sets in. Solo II is alot about driving, but the car does matter too in the end.
