The software is $180 and I really like it's new post search functionality. It shows which topics have new posts rather than showing you all unread messages.

We actually just set this up at my office, so I'll be messing around with it in the next few weeks. One of my big concerns is with security and many of their older releases had some nasty cross-site scripting vulnerabilities.

I like VBulletin, wouldnt mind seeing this site change to that, but what you have now seems to work good too.

A forum I've been a member of for the past 5 years has been using vBulletin since day one... it's pretty secure and hassle free. I know a guy who has been configuring it from day one and he didn't seem to have a problem much.

We're completing the web-app scanning of the latest vBulletin at work, so if it comes back better than previous releases, I'll investigate being able to import this data into it. The price is right on fudforum, though. Wink
