I just cleared mine this morning which I was surprised to see contains more than a dozen names. Then today, after reading one post, I check the ignore list had one name of someone not even posting in that post?

I checked mine and I don't have anyone on my list and I don't really use that feature at all. Do you add people as "buddies?" Maybe you inadvertently clicked "ignore" rather than "add?" I don't have any way of looking at who is being ignored by whom without picking through the database.

Sorry, I don't have a good answer on this one. I'll check the change log on the newer forum release and see if there is any mention of a bug like this. Strange Confused

No I don't do any of that, but I did notice my buddy list has a few names in it, none of them I remember clicking on.

Interestingly enough, right after I posted this, the suggestion forum doesn't show up anymore for me. I accessed it again from the browser's history archive. Weird.

Sounds like someone else has been using your account.

That's definitely a possibility. Unfortunately, I don't have a good explanation of why that could spontaneously happen, other than a mis-click.

I've been tossing the idea around of setting the site up to run over SSL. I'd use a self-signed cert, though, since that's free.

Interesting that it seems like my ignore list grows when I view classifieds while I'm logged out. Weird. In any case, I just go in there and delete it. I didn't think anyone was accessing my own account. Probably some weird security settings and cookie setups I have on all my PC's.

That's interesting. Is it still happening with the upgraded forum software? I got on the latest version about 3 weeks ago. If you can reproduce the problem reliably, pm me and tell me the steps. I'd like to check out the problem and potentially open a bug for this. That's a strange one, but I think you may be right about some session or cookie goofyness. I never look at the site when I'm logged out, so I haven't come across this one. Thanks for staying with the issue! If you're seeing it, then it's likely that others are too.

I had people randomly show up in my ignore list, but I am always logged in...

Which theme are you guys using? The black/grey (default) theme has the ignore stuff removed from the message bodies, so the only way that you could add someone to your ignore list would be manually via your control panel. Essentially, I can't see any way that you could accidentally ignore someone when using that theme. If either of you are using the back/grey theme, can you clear your ignore list and try to replicate the problem? I searched around on the forum software's support forum and don't see anyone else complaining about this.

Interesting. I haven't logged on in over a week and when I come back to log in, everyone is on my buddy list and ignore list. There were no post visible, it felt like Mars Laughing However, I can't figure out a pattern Neutral
