Can anyone explain the reason for these changes? I have a 3 hour drive to Marina for round 1, and getting there by 7:00 means I have to leave by 4:00. Why no afternoon run groups? With the old setup I would get a break once in a while because I ran in the afternoon and didn't have to leave the house so early. And why 7:00? Is that just for setup?

Just wondering.

7am is just for setup folks.

Under the new format, you're basically treating this as a "morning" rungroup format always. And every group gets a break in between running and working. Yes, that does make it so you have to leave earlier for all the events (sorry). The benefit here is for volunteers, who can decide to pack up earlier than usual if they so choose. But also with the hot rungroup changeovers, we may be able to offer more competition runs.

In any event, SFR will remain flexible with formats so in the event that we have too little or too many for the 4RG format, we can change it.

Thanks, Tony. That makes sense now. I don't have to leave until 5:00! So I guess there is no lunch break/course walk.

Yeah, I really enjoyed the times when I didn't have to be there for the morning group.

But if we can get the attendance over about 140, then we can get afternoon groups back again, maybe (depending on how you interpret the Leader's statements). So bring all of your friends!

Getting ready to register but have a question. When I register for CAM as the class do I also need to select a PAX ie. CAM-C?
