Hello everyone,

The test and tune is scheduled for Saturday, March 10th, 2018. I will be chairing this event. There is a 60 entries limit, registration opens at midnight, so sign up early https://www.motorsportreg.com/events/crows-landing-test-n-tu ne-march-scca-san-francisco-solo-814743

I will be running this in a slightly different format vs. previous years so we don't have people jumping in front of lines.

Also, if you can't stay the full day, please let me know ahead of time so there will be enough workers for each workgroup.

If you can't work course because you are physically unable to, I will find you a work assignment that you don't need to run.

Here is the format that is planned:
- 3 workgroups, I will call it (A, B, C)
- Chevron style grid. Drivers must return to the grid after their run (unless red flag, or timer issue).
- There will be a 2 drivers line for people sharing cars.
- Must wait for the grid worker's go ahead before queuing up in line.

Here is the schedule and format that is planned:

7AM to 8:15AM Course Setup
8:30AM Drivers Meeting
9AM to 10AM Group A Works
10AM to 11AM Group B Works
11AM to 12PM Group C Works
12 to 12:30 Lunch
12:30PM to 1:40PM Group B Works
1:40PM to 2:50PM Group A Works
2:50PM to 4PM Group C Works

There will also be course setup for the Sunday event after 4PM. I may need another 2 to 3 workers to get this covered.

That's great! Should be able to afford people a lot of runs this time around.

I'm fairly new so sorry for the newb question, I see test&tune on Sat, with rd2 on Sunday. I'm trying to get more seat time and want to run Sat, but not Sun. With the cap, is that a problem? I'd be more than willing to free up my Sun spot for someone who needs it if you're full.

The cap is only for the Saturday event.

If you have been to an event and knows what side of the cones to drive on, come to the test and tune to get more seat time. It's just not recommended for first timer since there may not people instructing you.

You can choose to just do the TnT and not go to the actual event on Sunday. That's up to you.

I'm a little confused by your last sentence. Do you mean Saturday instead of Sunday? We don't limit the number of people for actual events. There's also plenty of spots left for the TnT at the moment.

Thanks, I thought there was a cap for both sat and sun and typically if one test&tune's on Sat, I assume you'd be running for points on Sun. See you on Sat. Take care, thank you.

Apparently also had to find another car too. Jeesh. SM is like a black hole for money.

Signed up...maybe a chance to (finally) kill the 3 year old BFG's on the Corvette...before I sell it.
