Course was fun, setup went well, reg went okay for the most part, no shortage of volunteers, 260 competitors, AND we got a news crew out there Smile

Things to work on:
-better signage for reg. We'll be making it so everyone can start reg'ing beginning in run group 1. We'll also split lines so that morning run people get priority. We began reg'ing everyone during rg2 but some people didn't hear the announcement.

-look at the quantity of drivers in the classes every event. Morning groups were big but people mostly ran in their class.

-getting more $5 bills

I'm frustrated. Folks mention 260 plus drivers. I would have guessed may 220 or so. Others mention the class sizes as being good. I thought so, too.
But what are you all looking at? Are the results close to being posted? No printouts were on the side of the MH, like they should be... Smile

254 registered and ran. No refunds that I know of.

Couldn't print results because that part of the software was acting up and we didn't want to have incorrect info. Since Jerry only uses the data and sorts it himself, those results will be accurate.

64, 56, 55, 48, 28... That's run group sizes today (roughly. From my recollection)

So a few more events and we will know how many are sticking around. If we need to resort them for balance, we will do so. To avoid long worker shifts, we can always go to 6 groups.

Anyways. We have options, and we should focus on the very successful event today I think! Great Boondoogle.

Good course, and went smooth for having that many people. Good boondoggle event as they generally seem to be tricky with big groups and everyone is a bit rusty coming back from the break.

I'm eagerly awaiting the results, I want to know how well I did, I've no idea currently. The results seem more delayed than normal.

Most clubs take a matter of a few days to get results up, if not longer. Having the results up the same day is sort of a unique privilege that we've been spoiled with.
