And I've got a list of a lot of organizations that put on track events here. It's only a list and not an endorsement. I've only run with Nor-Cal SAAC, Green Flag, TCRA, and I've done a pair of Thunderhill Hi-Perf. driving events.

Oh yes! Their guides are great! Definitely worth checking out before going to a track for the first time. They have useful pictures that show you where you should place the car and explain how to set up for the next emelent.
