The highly under promoted and stealthily concockded Cone Cup Total Points Trophy update after 7 events is here!

Mike McHugh T1 22 pts
Victor Harris STX 22 pts
Kraig Kippel STS 18 pts
An Nguyen STU 18 pts
Mike Hsu ST 17 pts

Pro Autobody, in 2008 began the Cone Cup Trophy total points award as a way to promote more attendance and local competition.

Points are awarded for all events where 4 or more drivers make a class.

2008-2009 winner Cliff Fong, and last years winner Jaime Mendoza have their names placed on the trophy. Prizes have ranged from paint jobs, (oh, those were the days) to cash, to free entry to SFR events.

Due to the uncertainty of business and economic conditions, 2011 prizes are still to be determined.

Thanks again to all the SCCA members who have trusted Pro Autobody with their cars.

These guys just did the bodywork and painted the Lotus 7's fenders,
and they look GREAT !!
The result far exceeded my expectations, and I will use them in the future for any and all body/paint work.
...........and they are reasonable in cost.

Which set of fenders? Smile It's been a while since they've seen fresh paint! What color?

I had them do the wide/heavy fenders (they were gravel pitted, and needed a fair amount of work), painted "Corvette Yellow", a close match to the existing yellow.
For those who don't know, Pat Kelly road raced the Lotus 7a in the late 60's, with the color being all yellow.
This brave babe ran at high speed tracks, like the original Laguna Seca, with Cobras and Corvettes screaming by her 948cc Lotus !

Not brave, just stupid. I knew there was this magic envelope that protected me. Don't we all know that when we're driving over our heads? Smile

Thanks all for the comments.

Things are really slow, if any needs body work, or has an insurance claim, now is a good time to get it done. Not sure when the economy will recover and business will pick up.

Thanks again!
