What is everyone using to capture data? We shoot video but nothing else and wanted a 10 hz unit that would export cvs files to sync with video. I have seen Trackmaster and Harry's GPS LapTimer apps but they only work at 1 hz and I would still have to buy a real phone. I want something simple and stand alone that doesn't require a electrical engineering degree or cost $999.00(Traqmate)

I'm running a MaxQ setup, unfortunately I can't recommend it simply because the company seems to have gone belly up. Functionality though is great, especially for Autocross.

I know of a few other people running Racetech DL1 setups, which is what Ive been assuming I'll have to make the jump to whenever my MaxQ craps out. The downside is the price for the same basic functionality, the upside is the versatility in being able to set up and log other inputs (steering angle, brake pressure, tps, etc)

I quit using my maxq. It's junk.

I upgraded to a DL1 and it actually does work and they actually do have support. It has helped me go faster during events. The excellent software makes it easy to define sectors and it's easy to play back and compare runs. I don't use video any more.

My only feature-wish for the DL1 is highlighting fastest sector times in purple. Then I could scream "...just gone purple in sector 3!!!..." Laughing

I am currently testing 10Hz and G sensor log trigger I know it is taking a while. I can't release something that will be buggy or not work properly.

I am currently waiting on response for Firmware bug, but this is the final firmware version then production can begin.

There are many other good options available.

I am thinking of selling my DL-1 with the Dash 2 set-up. It is a great system. http://www.race-technology.com/dl1_dash2_package_8_7554.html
Asking $1000 OBO. I take Visa/Mastercard and Discover.
