This car has been visible from the street in the garage of an unoccupied house near me since I moved into the neighborhood 25 years ago. Someone has finally started to clean up the property so it might disappear soon.

Anyone know what it is?

Interesting.... 1930's or maybe a tad earlier, and not a Ford or Studebaker based on a quick image search, but probably American. My parents' cars in Berkeley in the early 1960's had not dissimilar license numbers, started with BSC in that same black with yellow letters. Back then you stood in line for your next plate and DMV handed them to you, so their two cars had sequential plate numbers.

That looks like a 1940 Packard One Twenty

The bumper isn't exactly the same as any of the 1940's I found, but then again that center piece may be a later add-on.

My neighbor had two Packards in his yard, one for him and one for his sister, I think they were 1950. And a DeSoto with the early Hemi engine!

here's a 1940 Packard 120. It could also be the 110.
