Just in case you haven't seen it elsewhere, a quote from the SFR site:

All classes will run in the morning, regardless of when they are scheduled to run under regular circumstances

All competitors need to be on site, registered and ready to go by the start of the driver's meeting at 8:45 AM

We will have 3 or 4 run groups total, and balanced run groups will be posted after registration closes on Thursday night.

Don't show up expecting to reg for afternoon groups! Just making sure that the message gets out.... And since we will all be arriving for the a.m. group check-in, maybe try to give yourself an extra 10-20 minutes to negotiate the line.

I attended a Pro Solo in Las Vegas. One of my fellow competitors dumped buckets of water directly onto his front brakes and wheels to try to cool down between runs. I recall it was over 110. I finished third in class. Today, I'd come in dead last, emphasis on dead.

Eh, we got out before it got REALLY bad. On the way home after site was torn down and stopping for lunch, the car said it was 105/106. It doesn't feel quite as hot when the wind is instantly evaporating all of your sweat but it's really easy to get dehydrated that way, and once the temp gets >96, your skin temp, then the wind is actually heating you up as well. I was spraying myself with my sprayer as well as my tires! The water felt warm but as soon as the wind whipped into it it felt nicely cool.

I did a Bob Bondurant course at the Arizona facility one August. They gave us like 20% off for being so, uh, brave, and ran the school a couple of hours earlier in the day, and brought us all indoors every hour for cooldown and hydration. 110+.

Re: atcovan's comment, I saw someone trying to cool his brakes I guess by spraying water into his wheels, yesterday at Crow's. That is a great way to crack a brake disc, if your brakes are really hot. If your brakes get hot enough to even think about cooling them, you're doing autocross wrong. Tires are another matter of course!

The event at Crows was windy as heck and varied from warm to just below Twisted Evil hot, but fortunately we were all out of there before it got much over 100 degrees! My thanks to organizers and workers.

But Justin, could you please avoid leaving large amounts of the course right on the speed of my rev limiter? Frown I'm appealing to you being a former Subie driver....

I posted links to pics of the first run group in the Photos section.

Raw times are at http://live.axti.me/results/4yTn1CPbH but I'm sure the official prelim results will be at the usual SFR webpage shortly. And welcome to the new drivers!
