For anyone that intends to be a Youth steward this year, and hasn't attended any of the new JDP training, please read through this post. Our next scheduled webinar is March 5th @ 7PM PST. We will have more webinars over then next few months, and then come fall. The next webinar after the one on March 5th @ 7PM PST is on March 29th @ 8PM PST, followed by April 2nd @ 5PM PST.

You do not have to be a Safety Steward to become a Youth Steward.

This JDP Training is designed to meet the requirements for SCCA Regions to continue or start a Junior Driver Program. Attendees will be able to apply for a Solo Youth Steward JDP License (also, a Kart Course Designer JDP License and a Kart Tech Inspector JDP License). Solo Safety Stewards (SSS) will receive a JDP upgrade to their SSS License. Since February 1, 2018, all SCCA Solo events running Junior Driver classes (JA, JB, and JC) must have at minimum one Solo Youth Steward JDP meeting these new requirements recorded on the event sanction application and in attendance at the event. This webinar takes just over two hours. 2

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
