Looking to try the event on June 10 at Crows Landing. Any pointers? Where can I register? Do I need to buy insurance for my car or is it relatively safe and don't need it? Any tips and insight is much appreciated.

Registration will be on site. There isn't insurance you can buy for autox, but it's relatively safe. Bring snacks, sunscreen, water, and painters tape for numbers and class (make sure the tape contrasts with the color of your car). Bring a a Snell approved helmet (M or SA 2005 or newer), if you have one. If you don't have a helmet, there should be helmets you can borrow.

Also, what car are you driving and what mods do you have?

I'll be taking my '17 gt350. No mods. Bone stock. What classifications will I be in?

You can choose to run in AS, which is part of Street 1, in run group 1. You can also run in CAM-C, which is run group 4. If you choose to run in CAM-C, you will need to be there to register by noon.

What's the difference between the 2 classes? Is there online registration or would I have to register in person? Thanks for answering my questions.

Street classes, like AS (A Street), allow you change the following: shocks (springs must remain stock); one swaybar; wheels as long as the offset is within 7 mm of stock offset and the width doesn't change, but you can change diameter by 1 inch; air filter element; catback exhaust; tires (200TW minimum).

CAM-C is almost open to do whatever you want as long as you run a tire that's at least rate at 200TW. There's also a minimum weight required, but I don't think that'll be an issue for you.

Registration is on site. There isn't online registration.

There will probably be more people in CAM. You may or may not be as fast as them, but it'll be a fun class.

Definitely more people in CAM-C, and certainly one or two GT350's to compete against. We've seen a lot of these cars show up, kinda crazy.
