I'm having a hard time posting this, but we just have too many cars.

1994 Nissan 300ZX NA, 167k miles
1 of 33 Sapphire Blue Slicktops in the US (any year)
[1994 has more reliable fuel injectors than early models, seat belts are on the b-pillars for more comfort, and they came with remote keyless entry.]

Finished 2nd at the 2014 SCCA Solo Nationals in Street Touring Xtreme, which tied the record for the largest ever class at 67 entrants.
Featured in SportsCar magazine's calendar for the month of May 2015.

A California car since new, this chassis is the straightest slicktop I could find in months of searching. Zero evidence of any front end damage that I could detect. It's usually easy to tell with these cars - they will have mis-aligned nose panels or headlights, and the look of the seam weld putty around the shock towers is usually a dead giveaway too. This car has none of that. There is some evidence of rear end bodywork around the taillights, but the car still has the original hatch glass.

I gave the car a partial restoration of sorts:
- 120k service performed at 158k miles (when I bought the car) using the Z1 Motorsports kit (mostly genuine Nissan parts). Spark plugs and belts included.
- New radiator fan and fan clutch
- New fuel filter
- New coolant temp sensor
- New O2 sensors
- Half the car repainted by a local guy who does excellent color matching. You have to examine *very* closely to tell any difference.
- Several dings removed
- Lots of new exterior trim including the silver bodyline tape, rubber window trim, roof trim rails, front Nissan emblem. Also the mirror bases and windshield cowl trim pieces were painted satin black.
- New hood insulator and stickers
- New shift bushings and shifter support rubber.
- New leather boots for shifter and e-brake
- Steering wheel re-covered by leatherwheels.com. Looks and feels like brand new OEM.

+ Lots of little things done to the car. Heck, I even polished the clock face when I had it out, and re-mounted the fuel filler door to adjust the panel gap a few mm.

STX mods:
- KW Clubsports with 375 rear springs in place of the 460s, and modestly cut bump stops front and rear.
- Z1 "Street" front upper control arms
- SPC rear upper control arms
- Stillen sway bars (stock rear bar is currently on the car)
- Complete Energy Suspension polyurethane bushing kit installed including steering rack and rear subframe
- KAAZ SuperQ 1.5-way LSD. Set up by KAAZ USA after discussing my needs. Chatters in parking lots, as most clutch diffs do.
- Z1 intake
- Unorthodox Racing lightweight crankshaft (underdrive) and water pump (overdrive) pulleys
- Z1 headers, ceramic coated flat black by Performance Coatings
- Specialty-Z resonated X-pipe (stainless steel)
- Specialty-Z cat-back (stainless steel)
- Early ECU socketed and dyno tuned by Specialty-Z for 91 octane. 218rwhp, 200rwtq on a DynoJet. 7500rpm Rev limiter
- 4lb Shorai LiFePO4 battery
[Total car weight 3114 lbs at Nationals (with Rota wheels)]
- Custom Saikou Michi dual catch can (needs emptying every 3-5 runs. There may be a couple of ways to improve on this - something I didn't get around to)

Wheels and tires:
- 17x9 Rota Titans (18lbs), flat black. Hankook RS3 V2s, 3-4 events and a drive to/from Nationals
- 17x9 WedsSport TC105Ns (15.5lbs), silver. Dunlop Z2s, shaved with 3 or 4 events on them
(both sets of wheels are in excellent condition)
- Stock wheels in pretty good shape with nearly useless ancient tires mounted

Other mods:
- HID headlights (a massive improvement over stock) installed by previous owner
- LED interior lights (gauges, HVAC controls, foot lighting and dome light) installed by previous owner
- Pioneer DEH-X3600UI stereo with Kenwood coaxial front and Pyle coaxial rear speakers
- Llumar tint film installed by Elite Tint

Over $11,000 spent on restoration/go-fast parts, excluding labor.

Still have all stock parts including diff and exhaust. Can include any and all of them at buyer's request.

I would love to see someone continue with this beautiful car and take it to the next level. We can't let the Twins have all the fun in STX! There is some weight savings to be had with seats, brakes, and lighter exhaust or suspension parts. The VG30DE sounds glorious, too. I'm selling because we have more than enough toys and we have different plans for 2015. I will miss this car for sure, because of how much work was put into it and how this crazy idea was more successful than I had even imagined it would be.

Full disclosure (it is a 20 year old car after all):
- The interior trim in the rear hatch area is scratched, faded, and crumbling in a couple spots. This car must have sat out in the sun a lot before I got it.
- Drivers door panel (interior) has a patched hole in the middle at the top. Someone had a sharp elbow I suppose.
- There is a fuel stain in the paint below the filler door.
- The car has a slow oil leak, I suspect from the passenger side valve cover gasket. There is also a slow power steering fluid leak.
- Sometimes the power steering assist is reduced when pulling away from being parked. It always comes back in a few seconds and stays fully assisted from then on.
- There was an incident with the car falling off a jack, which split the passenger floorboard. It was non-structural damage, and the floor was welded back together and then sealed.
- A/C was working fantastically until recently. I will fix this unless the next owner doesn't care for A/C.
- FYI, the clutch was replaced at 147k miles according to receipt from previous owner.

$10,500 for the whole package. Or $9,000 and I keep the WedsSports with Z2s.

How cool that you were able to get that plate, Barry. I wouldn't have thought it available!

Tried. And tried. And tried. Several hours later, that was the best I could do. The new trim was not quite the correct shape (and the metal has strong memory for its 'incorrect' shape), and the rearmost clips are discontinued/unobtanium.
