Would love to go sometime, would have to codrive as the truck (as much as Van and other FSP'ers want me to bring it) would obviously not be worth the cost haha.

FSP #2 - look for the truck

Nationals just finished on the BAautox boards. That's a first.

Seems most of us SFR Nationals folks are posting up on FB, but not here any longer.

Lots of good news came out of Lincoln. The region definitely represented. I'm going to predict Mark Scroggs gets "Rookie of the Year", as this is his first year back and he not only won GS in Nationals, but also was 2nd in the indexed class in the Pro Finale. Can't say I'm amazed...I've seen him drive for the last 8 years and have always known this is what would likely happen if he got back there in the right car! Smile

Thanks Mike Smile

For those that don't know, here is the SFR trophy count for the 2014 National Championships...

Chris Cox SS Champion
Manny Ruiz 7th A-Street
Ric Quinonez 9th C-Street
Teddie Alexandrova 3rd C-Street Ladies
Mike Wood D-Street Champion
Justin Moore 6th D-Street
Mark Scroggs G-Street Champion
Shelly Monfort SSRL Champion (6th in a row & 8th overall), & 2014 Driver of Eminence
Bryan Heitkotter 2nd STX (one of the greatest drives of the event IMO Smile )
Steve Lau 3rd SSP
Tom Ellam 3rd XP
Andy McKee 5th XP (car was having trouble starting, and he coned away 2 runs Thurs. that would have him 2nd)
Mike Maier CP Champion (Again...although Mark Madarash made it interesting on the west course)
Frank Stagnaro 7th CP
Rick Myllenbeck 4th EP
Deanne Caraballo EPL Champion
Scott Fraser CAM Sport Champion

Special mention Josh Salvage, .101 outside the trophies in Street Modified

Many more from our region made the trip, winning trophies or not a great time was had by ALL!! After many-many years I finally made the trip, I can honestly say it was one of the greatest weeks of my life (regardless of how I finished).

I encourage EVERYONE to make the trip at least once! Many of you have a great chance at doing VERY well, but you will never know unless you try Smile

Thumb Up Thumb Up
