It'd be a good idea to have some green cones, but we shouldn't use them for pointer cones. Green cones could have other uses.

Such as.......

Grid, delineating the spectator area and other non-mission critical stuff Smile

Of course, that's if they're on sale!

Well there you go.

But there are already specific grid cones. And I don't think those are being consumed like the course cones are.

Like Mike said, there could be other uses besides for grid. Either way, we need more cones.

green is basically the same price as orange.

I actually thought more people would be in favor of the green. I am not for for them personally. Exactly what Mack said.

The only time I have found the green cones an advantage was once at AAS, in the pouring rain, in an open car, with no windshield.

They were the only cones that I could clearly see through a droplet covered visor. Otherwise I am indifferent to them.

We have approx 275 course cones. We ran out of cones last event. We do need more of either color.

Hi Dan... I found Rain-x on the visor and anti-fog on the inside works well.

PS Did you notice that Mr. Ng kinda agreed with me about green cones? Oh, happy day when we agree! Sort of Smile

I like AAS's green cones, and I'm sure if we looked we'd find that AAS has produced a good number of National Champions as well... but I'm pretty indifferent on SFR using them - might as well just stick with the orange.
