When can we find out what the run groups will look like? The first event is coming up in two weeks. Are the chairs for this event decided already?

I want to coordinate with my friends and figure out which classes we need to go for.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. Me, my dad, my mom and my cousin would like to participate. What would we need to be able to drive in the event (costs, licensure or membership) and what time does it start on Sunday?

Welcome to the forum! To participate you need a valid and current driver license, a SNELL approved helmet (we do have rentals available at the event), and a car that has to pass basic safety at the event (everything like the battery is tied down, no oil/coolant leaks, no whee lbearing issues, tires that don't show cording, etc.). It's $35/person to participate if you're an SCCA member. If you're not a member you can purchase a weekend membership at the event for $15/person, for a total of $50/person. Cash or check only. To participate in the morning groups, you should be there by 8 to give you time to register and walk the course. We should have the first car at the start between 9 and 9:30. If you want to participate in the afternoon, show up by noon to register. The afternoon groups won't actually start until 1 at the earliest.

What car(s) will your family be driving and what's been done? That'll help with classing the car(s).

Thanks for the info! Can we participate in both morning and afternoon runs? We will be driving:

1991 Miata (mine)
KYB suspension, Rota wheels, sway bars, 1.8L engine swap, Hard Dog Deuce Roll bars

Lotus Elise SC (dad's)
Larini clubsport exhaust, Ohlins coilovers

BMW 335i E93 (mom's)
stock, no mods

BMW M3 E46 (cousin's)
not too sure what's been done to the car... suspension, Cold Air intake?

Is the Nov. 10th date confirmed?

I'm assuming all of you will want to run together and don't care about running in class or for points, so you can all choose to run as FUN in whatever run group you want. In that case the car classings would be:

1991 Miata --> FUN CSP
Lotus Elise SC --> FUN SSP
BMW 335i E93 --> FUN DS
BMW M3 E46 --> FUN STU or FUN BSP

Nov. 10 is confirmed. Yes, you can run in both the morning and afternoon. Running a second time will cost $25/person.
