I am just about ready to order the next set of tires for the Fit. After 25+ runs at the EVO test and tune, 1/3 of a SFR season, the National tour and 2 drivers at the Pro Solo I can sure tell the Toyo's are only 140tw!!!

I am 99.9% SOLD on the Rival's. Just need to decide which size...

Will be mounted on a 15x7.5 +32 rim and currently I have plenty of clearance. I have also cleared easily with 225/45R15 RS3's AND can clear a wheel and tire packake of the RS3's on 15x8 +25 wheels...

45s will be quicker but if you constantly run out of gear then go with the 50s.

I'm on 195 50's now and have yet to ride my revised redline of 7.5k. Gotten close a few times but all that will change I hope with the new exhaust...

I wish I had the money for 2 sets of tires and wheels Laughing Laughing Laughing

Do you think you could actually take advantage of a 225 tire?

The diameter is a wash, so no difference in gearing or CG. With a 7.5" rim, I'd go with the 205. The 225, I believe, is going to pinch and screw up sidewall profile...end up with both tread squirm and reduced contact patch...notsogood.

i'd wait to see some results from more national events. and if you run the 225 up front, the 205 might be better in the rear. in case they don't get up to temp. just thinking out loud.

or you can get one size, jason gets another size, and you guys can trade, and to testing. : )
